Our supply area has been declared as being under serious water stress. We also face a growing population, so we need to leave more water in the environment, whilst also making sure we have enough water.
We can only do this by working in partnership with our customers to reduce the demand for water. Our Water Metering Programme will achieve this.
- Saving Water – Helping our customers to save water, energy and money. We’ll offer customers targeted advice and free water saving devices so that they can reduce their water use.
- Reducing Leakage – We’ll invest to reduce leakage on our network by 14%. This is the highest percentage reduction of any water company in England and Wales.
- Metering – We’ll introduce meters for non-metered customers, so that they can track their water usage.
