We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

Appearance of your water

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

Repair Timeline

(18:00) Repair team have remained on site and working to repair the burst pipe

(15:00) Our repair team remain on site

(12:50) Repair team have arrived on site and are digging to expose the burst water main. 

(11:05) Due to the volume of water from the burst we've temporarily isolated water to the main. Our repair team and equipment has arrived on Potters Lane, however before we can start repairs, we're awaiting the arrival of traffic management.

(10:45) Our technician has assessed the burst and the repair team are on the way to help. However, we're awaiting traffic management before we can start repairs.
