If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What has happened so far?

(16:40) The boosters have been restarted.

(16:25) The repair on the burst pipe has been fixed. We are just waiting for our production technician to restart the Fyfield boosters, he is on route to them now.

(15:55) Our technician is on site and will be throttling the mains, meaning the pressure will be reduced for the repair. Low pressures are expected with customers, and also some no waters. Our network control team will be reviewing potential customer impact and will follow with an update. The rough time frame given for the repair is around half an hour, to an hour.

(14:55) We are working to repair the burst water main, however the Fyfield boosters have tripped. Our production team is on route to the boosters to restart them. The mains oipe will need to be shut in order to compleet the repair.
