Low Water Pressure in Edgware

We’re really sorry you haven’t got any water or lower pressure than usual. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on Heronsgate which may be causing this.

What we’re doing

Our technician is on their way to your area to investigate and get your water flowing again soon.

What you can do

Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:

  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • Electrical appliances that use water

If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.

We added this message at 16:50 and we'll update it again after 20:50.

What's happened so far

(16:50) The repair team is unable to proceed without isolating the main supply. Additional fittings are required to complete the work, which the team will collect from a nearby depot. We will need to shut water off completely to carry out these repairs.

(16:40) The main has been throttled and a fire hydrant has been opened up to relieve some of the pressure from the burst.

(13:25) Repair team on site awaitng removal of parked car to go ahead with works
