We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far?
(20:40) The repair is now complete, and the technician is on-site flushing the mains. Water should now be returning to all affected customers. Please note, the water may appear cloudy or aerated due to air in the system. This is normal and should clear shortly.
(20:20) The repair team have located the burst mains, they need to excavate further to expose it fully.
(19:40) Traffic Management has arrived on site at 7pm. Road closure has been set up and the repair team have started to excavate the mains burst.
(18:55) Our technician has closed the valve, 2 properties will remain without water until the repairs have been completed, all other properties will be back in supply. Our team are currently still waiting on the traffic management for the road closure to be put into place. The streets affected list has been updated, please see above.

(18:25) Technician on route to open valve to restore water to properties who have reported no water.
(17:50) Traffic management expected to arrive around 18:30 hopefully depending on traffic.
(16:30) Repair team and traffic management have been requested - these works will require a road closure.
