We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

Wednesday 23rd July 2025

(15:55) The valves have been reopened and pressure restored.

(14:10) Your water is estimated to be back on in around 30 minutes. 

(13:20) We have had reports of no water/low pressure which may have been caused by the flushing, we are in the process of reducing the flush.

(12:45) Repair has been complete, the team are onsite flushing the pipes to reduce sediment.

(11:10) Technician on site had shut a valve to help repairs, no customer impact expected.
