Interruption to your water supply - Saffron Walden - CB10

Saturday 7th June 2025

Your water pressure will be restoring soon

We would like to inform you that a planned shutdown was carried out on Friday, 6th June to repair a faulty fire hydrant. All affected customers were notified in advance, and the repair works have now been successfully completed.

However, before we can fully restore the water network to its normal configuration, our teams must complete essential water quality sampling on the main. We expect to receive the results by Tuesday, 10th June. Once confirmed, we will reverse the temporary rezone and return the water supply to normal.

In the meantime, you may continue to experience lower water pressure than usual during peak demand periods. As an additional precaution, we will be dispatching a technician to the area to ensure there are no other issues contributing to the reduced pressure.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we complete this final stage of the process.
