Your water supply is back to normal
We’ve been making adjustments to our network following the repair of the burst water main and we’re pleased to say that your water supply is back to normal.
What's happened
We're really sorry if you have had no water or lower water pressure than normal. Yesterday (Sunday 1st June), there was a burst main on Falling Lane, West Drayton which may have been causing this.
We would like to apologise again for the disruption to your water supply and thank you for your continued patience while we completed the repair work.
Appearance of your water
If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry, this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding while we worked to resolve this issue.
What’s happened so far
(Monday 2nd June 2025)
(10:30) Water supply is back to normal
(07:30) Technicians are flushing before returning to service
(05:00) The water main has now been repaired. However, sampling and flushing will need to take place, so you may still notice lower-than-normal water pressure
(02:25) The damaged section of the main has now been cut out and repair works are continuing
(01:30) All properties will now be back on the water supply, albeit at a lower water pressure than normal
(00:25) We now only expect 24 customers to be without a water supply, all other customers will have water, however, this may be at lower pressure than normal
(Sunday 1st June 2025)
(22:00) Excavations are continuing, however, the concrete over the main is very thick,k which means this is taking longer than expected
(18:15) Further equipment and machinery have arrived on site
(17:35) The main has now been shut in, which means that less customers will be affected with no water, however those with water supply back may still notice lower water pressure until repairs are completed
(16:25) Our technician, as well as a repair team, are now on site assessing the damage to the main. A recovery company has been requested to move a car parked over the burst
(15:40) We have had a burst main reported on Falling Lane in the UB7 area
(15:30) We have started to receive a number of calls which suggest an issue on the network, our technician is on their way to investigate
