What we’re doing
Our repair team are working to repair the burst water main on Canons Drive. However, they need additional fittings before they can complete the repair.
We’re really sorry for the delay. We’re working hard to get your water flowing again soon.
What you can do
Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

What's happened so far?
(12:00) The mains has been shut, customers on Canons Drive will have no water until the repairs have been completed.
(11:10) A cut out repair is required as the mains has split, the fittings have been ordered and the repair team were given an ETA of 1 hour.
(10:55) All customers should be back in supply, albeit at low pressure.
(09:25) Our technician has throttled the mains to help restore water to the wider area.
(08:30) Our technician has assessed the burst and raised a job for repairs.
(07:30) A streets affected list has been added.
