Low pressure in Shepperton

We’re really sorry if you are experiencing low pressure. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on Thames Meadow/Walton Lane which may be causing this.

What we’re doing

Our repair team have stayed on Thames Meadow/Walton Lane and are continuing to repair the burst water main. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.

We’re really sorry for the disruption. We’re working hard to get your water flowing again soon.

What you can do

Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:

  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • Electrical appliances that use water

If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.

What's happened so far?

(2200) Works are still ongoing and properties with in the area of streets affected (please see the streets affected above ) will continue to have supply but all be it at a lower pressure than normal

(18:05) The rezone is now in place and the mains has been shut. Customers within this zone may experience low pressure, please see the streets affected list above.

(17:05) The valves have been flushed and sampled and are in the process of being opened, so that the mains burst can be shut in. Once this has been done properties within this zone may experience low pressure.

(16:45) Once the rezones are in place, the mains will be shut in for the repair team to dig out and repair the burst.

(12:50) Our technician is flushing either side of the valves in preparation for the rezone.

(10:10) Our technician has assessed the burst and has requested a repair team and traffic management.
