Low pressure in Matching
We’re really sorry if you are experiencing low pressure. We’ve been made aware of a fire on Hobbs Cross Road, the fire brigade are currently working on putting this out and in the process unfortunately burst one of our water mains.

What we’re doing
Our technicians are on site assisting the fire brigade, a repair team has been requested and a road closure also.
What you can do
Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.
We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.

What's happened so far?
(19:20) Once the fire has been put out, our technicians will be shutting the mains to contain the burst, customers on Hobbs Cross Road and Chalk Lane will have no water once this takes place until the repairs have been completed. We will let you know when this will happen.
(19:10) The fire brigade are currently on Hobbs Cross Road working on putting out a fire, this caused for one of our mains to burst.
