What's happened so far?
(16:05) The cut out repair has been completed and all customers are back in supply.
(15:15) The mains has been throttled, the repair team are currently in the process of cutting out the mains.
(12:20) Further jobs have been raised to expose the buried valve located on East Lane junction with Pembroke Road. This will allow for two fire hydrants to be installed to allow for flushing to take place before the cut out repairs commence.
(10:30) Excavation works are underway to expose the damaged section of the main.
(10:25) Our technician has throttled the mains down slightly so the pumps can keep up with the water, the repair team will continue digging.
(05:15) The repair team, the JCB and the Traffic Management have arrived on site.
(04:10) The mains has been throttled in to stop the water from flooding, customers within this zone may experience low pressure, please see the streets affected list above.
(02:00) A burst has been reported to our team, a technician is on route to investigate and assess the burst, a repair team has been requested.
