Interruption to your Water Supply - HP16 - Great Missenden

Wednesday 16th July 2025

What we’re doing

We apologise if you have experienced a loss of water supply or reduced water pressure. This is due to a burst water main on London Road. In order to assess the damage and develop a plan for a live repair aimed at avoiding disruption to customer supply, our technician had to temporarily throttle the main.

The throttling was initially expected to last around 30 minutes. However, due to unforeseen complications, it extended longer than anticipated, and we are aware that some customers were left without water during this time.

We are pleased to confirm that all supplies should now be fully restored. We will continue to keep you updated as we progress with the repair.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we carry out the necessary works.

What you can do

Until we’ve sorted this, if at any stage you have no water, or lower water pressure than normal, please avoid using your:

  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • Electrical appliances that use water

If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

We updated this message at 18:00 and we'll update it again once we have more information
