(05:25) The pressure has restored to normal, all customers are back in supply.
(00:05) Pressure is starting to rise, our team will monitor this to make sure that everyones water is restoring.
Tuesday 8th July 2025
(23:05) A technician is on site, the water sampling have done their tests and the valve has been opened to restore water to all affected.
(22:30) Our team have determined that the no water and low pressure issues are a follow on event from the mains burst this morning on Amersham Road, as the main has been left boxed in until the water samples have been tested, this has resulted in the pipes in your area to fail on turbidity due to there being not enough pressure in the network. The mains will be re-opened to resolve this issue, further some more on site sampling and checks from the water quality team.
(21:45) We've received a few no water and low pressure calls from your area, our team are currently investigating this.
(17:20) The repaired mains will stay boxed in, until the water samples have been tested.
(15:10) Repairs completed and mains are recharged, our technician will now flush the pipework, customers may experience low pressure whilst this is taking place but everyone is back in supply.
(15:00) Repairs are almost completed and the mains will be charged up shortly.
(14:30) The repair team have now cut out the burst mains and are working on lowering in the new part.
(14:00) Due to an issue with the excavator getting blocked, the repair team are still working on exposing the burst water main.
(11:30) Due to the shut, three properties are currently without water on Woodhill Avenue.
(07:45) The traffic management have set up, the police have left site and the repair team are now digging to expose the mains burst. There is no customer impact at this time, all customers are in full supply.
(05:40) Due to the size of the burst, it may take a while for some customers to be back at full supply, meaning you may experience low pressure.
(05:00) The mains have now been shut in and the flooding has been contained, water is restoring to all customers.
(04:30) This has now been exposed and operated, however, a second valve has to be operated as the mains is still flooding the road.
(04:15) One of our valves has been tarmacked over by a third party and the repair team are now digging to expose this so our technician can use this to shut in the burst mains.
(03:30) The burst has been located on a 12" mains on Amersham Road/A413 dual carriage way, it is flooding both sides of the road, our technicians are on site with the police who have closed the road off for safety. A repair team has been requested and traffic management is on route to take over from the police made road closure.
(02:05) Our loggers have shown that there is a large burst in your area, two technicians have been dispatched to locate this and a repair team has been requested.
