Your water will be back on 

We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

(16:05) The bursat main has now been repaired and all cusotmers should see their water flowing back to normal soon.

(14:20) The team are continuing to expose the burst water main. The ground is harder then expected so a JCB digger had to take over.

(12:25) Repair on site excavating to expose burst

(07:05) Technician on route to investigate.

(07:35) Our technician has assessed the burst and a repair team are on their way.

(07:35) We’re awaiting traffic management so our team can work safely.

(09:00) Our technician has taken a pressure reading which is showing as 1 bar. All customers should now have water at a slightly lower pressure but due to morning demand, you may see you have very poor pressure or no water at all.

(10:20) Traffic managment has been set up and our team have started to expose the burst water main.
