We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

What's happened so far?

Friday 27th June 2025

(13:25) The works have been completed and our technician is now flushing the pipes, all customers are back in supply.

(12:35) Our technician has shut the mains so the cut out can commence, customers within this zone may experience no water, streets affected updated.

(12:15) The team have exposed the mains burst, a cut out is required to complete the repairs, so further exposure of the mains is required.

(11:35) The team have started to dig to expose the burst mains, all customers are in supply, albeit at low pressure.

(06:50) A road closure has been ordered so the team can start excavating the burst mains.

(06:30) Our technician has throttled the mains to contain the burst, customers within this zone may experience low pressure, please see streets affected above.

(06:15) Our alarms show that there is an increase in pressure in the area, suggesting a mains burst, a technician and a dig team have been requested to attend.
