Low pressure

We’re really sorry you have low pressure. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on Cornells Lane which has affected the local booster, causing low pressure to the area.

What we’re doing

Our repair team have stayed onsite and are continuing to repair the burst water main. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.

We’re really sorry for the disruption. We’re working hard to get your water flowing again soon.

What you can do

Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:

  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • Electrical appliances that use water

If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.

We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.

What's happened so far

(19:00) More teams have arrived on site.

(16:00) The team are still awaiting fittings of the pipe to arrive, then a cut out will commence, there should not be anyones water affected.

(10:20) The team are now onsite, awaiting equipment to arrive. The main may need to be shut but we are not expecting this to impact the customers at this time as water will be pulled from other areas.

(09:15) A team has been requested to start the repairs.

(08:45) The burst has affected the local booster, which is causing low pressure to the area.

(08:30) Technician on route to investigate.
