We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and completed the flushing of the main, so you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

Appearance of your water

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far

(21:30) The flushing is now completed and customers supplies will be restoring back to normal

(19:30) Repair has now been completed, and we are flushing the mains before we can restore the supply. The flushing is expected to take up to three hours.

(17:50) Team on site are contiuing to work on the repair. 

(17:15) A wider area is affected than expected, focus is now on repairing the main to get the water back on rather than a rezone. 

(16:10) Digging to expose main.

(14:10) Burst has been reported, technician on route to investigate.
