We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

What’s happened so far

(15:50) The team are now flushing the main

(15:25) The team have exposed the damaged main and have also cut out the damaged part of the main

(14:25) Digging work has commenced to expose the burst main

(12:30) The team are awaiting the arrival of extra equipment before digging works get started

(12:10) Traffic management and repair team have arrived on site

(10:40) We have been made aware of third party damage to the main which may be causing no water or lower pressure than normal.
