Repair Timeline

Wednesday 8th March

(11:25) Following our routine checks of the network, a valve on our network isn't operating correctly in order to return the pipework into full service again.

Tuesday 7th March

(19:30) Our team have completed to main repairs and need to undertake final checks before reinstating the supply 

(08:40) Our team have remained on site, due to the complexity of the repair we require additional fittings. 

Monday 6th March

(23:40) Due to the complexity of the repair, additional works have been deemed as necessary, and are now in progress.

(19:35) Following excavation and assessment of repair works, our repair team requested and obtained additional fittings needed in order to carry out the repair.

(16:39) Our work team started further excavations to access the burst pipe and initiate further repairs

(13:34) We carried out a diversion of the mains water supply on our network to ensure a constant flow of water to our customers

(10:15) Our repair team needed additional fittings before they are able to repair the damaged pipework

(07:15) Second burst occured on Palace Way, our repair team are investigating.  

Friday 3rd March

(08:35) We've made a temporary repair to restore customers water supplies. Further work is required, however this is extensive work and the road will  remain closed whilst the repairs are ongoing. 

Thursday 2nd March

(19:25) Our teams continue working to get your supply back to normal. Currently, we are awaiting some specialist fittings which are due to arrive within the hour. 

(14:25) While the extensive repair works are underway, we have closed the road to ensure the safety of our team and the general public.

(10:20) Technician has arrived and our repair team is on the way to site.
