The work to reinstate the road surface is now underway.

We anticipiate the road to be open by Monday 28th September 2020.

Wednesday 24th September 2020

The repair has now been completed and overnight our team will begin to gradually return the water main back into service.

Due to the complex repair, the road will need to remain closed until the reinstatement of the area has taken place.

We will update you further on reinstatement as soon as one becomes available.

Tuesday 22nd September 2020

Our repair team are on site digging to expose the damaged section of the water main.

This is a complex repair due to the size of the pipework and we will provide an update and estimate on when this work should be completed as soon as one becomes available.

The road will remain closed for the duration of the repairs. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If you are in the above area and are experiencing traffic delays, we currently have a burst water main on Elton Way.

Our repair team are on site, however due to the scale of the burst we have needed to close the road to carry out the repair and for the safety of our teams.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and aim to restore your supply to normal as soon as possible.
