Water safety in buildings

Experience shows that poor design and management of water systems in buildings can cause outbreaks of disease.  The World Health Organisation (WHO) has produced a guidance document called ‘Water Safety in Buildings’ which is directed primarily at those who design, construct, manage, operate, maintain and regulate building water systems. It is intended to be a useful resource for the development of training and information material and is based on the WHO Water Safety Plan framework.
