Protect your water quality

We are committed to supplying our customers with the highest quality of drinking water with constant monitoring from water treatment works and throughout our distribution system.

However, once the water passes into your property, we are only responsible for certain aspects of it. Water may be subject to deterioration due to factors out of our control, such as storage conditions, corrosion of pipe materials and water temperature. Water supplies are also vulnerable to microbiological, chemical and metal contamination. Monitoring the quality of your water demonstrates an understanding of your water quality responsibilities, giving you peace of mind.

We offer a range of services to ensure your water supply is safe and secure. We can provide water supply experts who can help you manage your water, identify risks and areas for improvement and provide advice to remedy and manage the situation.

With our own UKAS-accredited laboratory and samplers we are able to provide a variety of sampling and analytical services including:

  • Microbiological Analysis – sampling and analysis of coliforms, total viable counts of bacteria and other public health related indicators

  • Private supplies - risk assessments including cryptosporidium giardia, metals and chemicals

We are able to carry out risk assessments, recommend control measures and monitoring programmes to ensure that the water on your site remains of the highest quality, whilst giving you the peace of mind that you need.

tap.jpgGeneral Water Quality Data Reports
We can provide an annual water quality report free of charge, which shows results of our regulatory water quality data for the supply zone your property is situated in. You may need this report to satisfy your Quality Assurance requirements for the quality of water supplied to you. Please contact us for more details.

However, if the water we supply is part of your manufacturing process we recommend you contact us to discuss your requirements.

Monthly and quarterly water quality reports are also available but a cost will apply.
