Charges in its Central Region will see an average annual household bill of £174 a year in 2017/18, which is unchanged from the 2016/17 average annual household bill and includes inflation at 2.2%.
Charges in its Southeast Region will see an average annual household bill of £204 a year in 2017/18, an increase of £2 a year over the 2016/17 average annual household bill and includes inflation at 2.2%.
Charges in its East Region will see an average annual household bill of £176 a year in 2017/18, an increase of £2 a year over the 2016/17 average annual household bill and includes inflation at 2.2%.
The new charges in all regions will take effect from 1 April 2017.
Affinity Water is continuing to support vulnerable customers through its WaterSure Scheme for high water users and over 40,000 customers have signed up to its Low Income Tariff.
The company is continuing to make the necessary investment to deliver on its commitments to reduce leakage, work with customers to reduce the demand for water and leave more water in the environment.

“We are pleased to have been able to reduce average household bills before inflation for another year and we will continue to make sure that we offer our customers value for money and keep their bills as low as we can.
“Over 40,000 customers have signed up to our Low Income Tariff and our WaterSure Scheme is available to protect customers in vulnerable situations who are high users of water.
“Our Water Saving Programme is helping us conserve scarce resource and leave more water in the environment.
Affinity Water’s Water Saving Programme encourages the more efficient use of water and it estimates that the amount of water taken from the environment will be reduced by 42 million litres per day by 2020.
The company is aiming to reduce leakage across its 10,600 mile network by 14% between 2015-2020, which will save more than 27 million litres per day.
Customers with difficulties in paying bills can apply for assistance under the company’s Low Income Fixed Social tariff or the industry wide WaterSure scheme for metered customers.
