In mid-February Affinity Water was one of the 32 leading energy and utility employers in the UK that launched the Energy & Utility Skills Partnership’s Inclusion Commitment
HR Director Jo Smith said: “It’s fantastic to be a part of this programme. Our sector is not yet representative of the UK workforce in terms of gender, ethnicity, disability and under-24s.
“We want to make change happen – we’ll achieve that by being inclusive in the way we attract, recruit and develop our people, so that our workforce reflects the communities we serve. Signing up to the Inclusion Commitment will enable us to collaborate with other utilities and share best practice.”
