#AffinityWaterCareers highlights the bright future that lies ahead

Louise

by Louise Reeder, Head of People

Affinity Water is investing in its people with a two-week window allowing all employees to develop their careers with bespoke web sessions and online events.

The Developing Your Careers Workshops run from the 8th to the 19th of November 2021. There are several workshops over the two weeks such as Giving and Receiving Feedback or how to have Difficult Conversations and much more.

People can attend as many workshops as they wish, and there’s even a hashtag: #AffinityWaterCareers.

The Career Stories Workshop has roped in the Interim CEO Stuart Ledger and other Directors such as Tania Flask and Joe Brownless. By learning about how colleagues have got to the top, it is hoped it will motivate others to climb the career ladder too if they so wish.

But if a person is shy at coming forward there’s an Interview Skills workshop and some short video sessions on Discovering Your Own Brand and how to handle a Networking Event.

Or there may be personal uncertainty about whether there is a need for Coaching or Mentoring? By logging into this Teams Event employees will find out the answers and like other sessions there’s a certificate at the end to say they attended.

So, there’s nothing to stop you? #AffinityWaterCareers is shining a light on the bright future that lies ahead.
