Learning about water and working with schools

Working with schoolsWe think that educating future generations about water is one of the ways that we can encourage a better understanding of why we all need to value and take care of it. That’s why we’ve invested in a purpose-built education centre and a team of qualified teaching staff to work with schools and community groups in promoting a more sustainable future.

The team covers a wide variety of topics including: where water comes from, how we produce drinking water, how it’s used in the home, at work and at school; why we all need to think about how much we use and useful tips to reduce waste. Find out more about how our education team can help you.

We provide a classroom at our site at Batchworth Mill, Rickmansworth for the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust who run a schools education programme for key stages 1 and 2 on canal life in Victorian times.
