Your charges

Affinity Water supply your clean water. For some customers we also bill on behalf of a wastewater company, so that you only receive a single bill covering all your water services.

Usage

This is the calculation based on the water you've used in litres, multiplied by the cost per cubic metre(1,000 litres). If there's been a rate change during the period, you may see two calculations.

Fixed charge

This is a fixed charge payable in advance by all customers on a water meter as a contribution towards the maintenance of the supply and other costs like customer services.

Wastewater

Affinity Water supply your clean water. For some customers we also bill on behalf of a waste water company.

Usage

The waste water calculation is based on the water you have used multiplied by the waste water charge per cubic metre (1000 litres). If there has been a rate change during the period, you may see two calculations.

Fixed charge

This is a fixed charge payable by all customers on a water meter for the maintenance of the waste water network and other fixed costs involved in removing your waste water.

Total charges

This is the total charge for your clean water and wastewater for the period billed.
