What we’re doing
Following our repairs to a burst water main on Guildford Road, another burst has now occurred.
Our repair team is currently on site repairing the damaged pipe. They will remain on site throughout the evening until the repair is completed.
All customers during the repair progress are expected to remain on a water supply.

What we’re doing
Our repair team have now fixed the damaged section of the pipework. However, they have stayed on Guildford Road to fix a broken valve. Once this is complete, our technician will be able to continue flushing the other section of the water main.

What we’re doing
Our repair team have stayed on Guildford Road and are continuing to repair the burst water main. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.

Your water will be back on
So we can get your water flowing again, the mains have now been shut. We expect our customers to have their water supply restored. However, this may still be at a lower pressure whilst the repair are ongoing.

We’re really sorry you haven’t got any water. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on Guildford Road which may be causing this.
What we’re doing
Our technician is now on site. We are currently in the process of shutting the main, which will allow some customers to have their water supply restored. Although, this may be at lower pressure than normal.

Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.
