What we’re doing

Testing is now complete and the main will shortly be put back in service. We expect this to be complete by tomorrow evening and you should then see your water flowing back to normal.

What we’re doing

We're continuing our tests on the water supply before we put the water main back into service. This is to ensure it meets our strict water quality standards now that the repair has been completed.

Whilst this is ongoing, customers will continue to have water directed across the network to maintain their water supply. However, this may be at a lower pressure whilst this is in place.

What we’re doing

Our repair team have now completed the repairs to the damaged section of pipework. Before we can put the water main back into service, we need to carry out tests on samples of the water to ensure it meets our strict water quality standards.

Whilst this is ongoing, customers will continue to have water directed across the network to maintain their water supply. However, this may be at a lower pressure whilst this is in place.

Our repair team have stayed on The High Street and are continuing to repair the burst water main. Due to complications this has taken longer that first thought. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.

Our repair team have stayed on The High Street overnight continuing to expose the damaged section of pipework, the team have now reached the damaged section of main and the repair will begin shortly. 

We've restored all customers water supplies by redirecting water across our network, however this may be at a lower pressure whilst our repairs continue.

We've been able to restore some customers water supplies by redirecting water across our network, however some customers may experience lower pressure or no water whilst our repairs continue.
