Appearance of your water
We’re aware that you and your neighbours may have brown water, we’re really sorry about this. Please don’t worry, this isn’t harmful to you.
Why this has happened
A third party were using a hydrant on Oak Cottages and this has caused your water to become brown. Brown water is just small bits of iron that naturally builds up in our pipework. When the iron is disturbed, it can make your water look brown. To find out more about brown water, please click here.
What we’re doing
Your local technician is now in the area using a fire hydrant to clear the brown/discoloured water.
They’ll stay in the area until your water is clear again.
We’re really sorry about this and thank you for your patience.
