We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

What we’re doing
Our repair team have stayed on Barnet Road and are continuing to repair the burst water main. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.
All customers should have a water supply for the duration of our works but at a lower rate than normal.

What we’re doing
Our repair team on site are preparing to dig at a new location where the suspected burst is. However, we’re awaiting the arrival of Highways to set up traffic lights before our works can resume.
Once we know how long this will take, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.

What we’re doing
Our repair team remain on Barnet Road and are continuing to expose the burst water main. As soon as we know how much longer this will take, we’ll let you know.
Our Restoration Team are also on site trying to pin point the exact location of where the burst is. A further update will be provided as soon as possible.

No water in Potters Bar
We’re really sorry you haven’t got any water. We’ve been made aware of a burst water main on Barnet Road which may be causing this.
What we’re doing
Our repair team has arrived on site and are now digging to expose the burst pipe. We should know how long this will take us to repair once we have exposed the pipe.
What you can do
Until we’ve sorted this, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.
