Your water is back on

We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the fault at your local pumping station and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

Appearance of your water

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far?

(17:10) All customers are back in supply of water now.

(16:10) Pressure is restoring to all of the network, there is an exception of 8 properties that we are aware of, still having no water and cloudy water, bottled water is being delivered to these properties.

(14:50) The repairs have been completed and the pressure is starting to restore, this will take some time but the loggers in the area are showing an increase of pressure already. Our team on site will continue to monitor this until it has fully restored.

(14:20) The team believe to have found the root cause and are installing the necessary parts now, a technician has been dispatched just in case this fails so they can sample and flush a ferrule to restore water to the area.

(13:00) Some power has been restored to the site, team working on restoring the rest.

(12:35) UK Power Network are now also on site with the production technician.

(12:25) The technician is on site, a production technician has also been dispatched.

(12:15) A UK Power Network failure in the area has caused a loss of communication to your local pumping station, a technician is on route to investigate.
