Interruption to your Water Supply - Stanmore - HA7
18th July 2025

What we’re doing
Our technician has assessed the burst main, and the team has implemented appropriate traffic diversions. Excavation work is currently underway; however, progress is slower than usual due to the presence of other utilities in the area.
We are currently awaiting the arrival of UK Power Networks, and at this time, there is no confirmed estimated time of arrival.
If you need to travel through the affected area, we advise allowing extra time for your journey. Flooding, road closures, and diversions are likely to cause delays.
At present, all customers should have a normal water supply. However, please be aware that it may become necessary to temporarily shut off the main later in the repair process. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
What you can do
Until we’ve sorted this, if at any stage you have no water or lower water pressure than normal, please avoid using your:
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- Electrical appliances that use water
If you still have water, we recommend you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking in case your water needs switching off for the repair.
We’re really sorry about this, we’re working to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.
We updated this message at 19:40 and we'll update it again as soon as we have more information
