We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the broken valve and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

What's happened so far?

Tuesday 10th June 2025

(09:25) Repairs complete and the main has been fully recharged, all customers should start to see their water return.

(08:45) The repairs are continuing, low pressure is to be expected. 

Monday 9th June 2025

(17:25) All customers are back in supply, a temporary repair has been made and the repairs will be continued tomorrow.

(16:25) The team are currently waiting for the correct fittings to be able to continue repairs.

(14:20) The team onsite have closed a valve so they can continue repairs.

(13:30) We are working on Pynchbek, the team has requested to shut the main so they can start repairs.
