Low pressure in Hertford

We’re really sorry if you experienced low pressure yesterday evening.  There was a large fire in Hertford which was being tackled by the fire brigade. 

The fire brigade use fire hydrants to pump water at large volume in order to fight fires. Due to the large volumes of water being used, properties in the area may have experienced lower pressure than normal. 

We monitored the pressure on our network during the event, which returned to normal by 11:50pm. All water supplies should be fully restored from this time.
